Kingsport, VA (August 21, 2019) – On August 21st, the King of Kingsport will finally be back on screens, this time for the first time in more than 20 years, and with a brand new movie: The King of King’s Portraits.
The film, a remake of the 1977 film starring Jack Nicholson, is set to debut on July 20th, 2019, at the Hollywood Bowl.
It stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Sam Worthington, Sam Heughan, Olivia Munn, David Tennant, and Matt Damon, along with a number of other stars.
In addition, a special screening of the film will be held at the King’s Landing bar, where guests will have the chance to meet all the cast and crew.
This screening is only available in Los Angeles and New York, and will be available via the King Street Theatre in Hollywood.
The King’s portraits, which date back to the 1800s, are a unique and fascinating historical look at the lives of the King and his court.
The King of kingsport will not only return to theaters in 2019, but also to Netflix in 2020.
In 2016, King’sport was nominated for an Emmy for Best Short Film.
King’sports new movie will be the first feature film for the series, which is currently being filmed in the United Kingdom, with filming set to begin this summer.
