Croatia were in the title race in the closing stages of the World Cup and they ended up getting a point against Italy.
Croatia scored their first goal of the tournament after 45 minutes, after midfielder Matija Nastasic’s cross from the right.
After the goal, Nastasevic took the field and he was joined by Croatia coach Zoran Marinovic.
Croatia captain Radja Nainggolan made his second start of the campaign, replacing Marinovic, but the result of the match is not expected to be announced until Sunday.
Croatia’s first goal came when Nastasyic slid a through ball into the path of Marija Djordjevic, who played a through pass to Nastassic who calmly beat goalkeeper Zlatko Kovalic with a fine right-footed shot from the edge of the box.
