The New York Knicks are “very serious” about signing free-agent guard Chris Kamal, according to a report from ESPN’s Marc Stein.
The Knicks have reportedly been shopping for Kamal since last summer, but it appears they’re not done with the veteran, who has been one of the league’s top defensive guards.
Kamal averaged 10.4 points and 3.8 rebounds per game for the Portland Trail Blazers last season, and has yet to have a serious injury.
The Knicks have been linked to several big-name free agents in recent weeks, but they are unlikely to be a part of any of them.
